Umhlanga reed dance

Umhlanga is a ceremony where Eswatini maidens dance and showcase their dancing talents in front of Their Majesties; This is the only ceremony where the King is allowed to chooses a wife. This is a ceremony that encourages young girls to keep their virginity and love Eswatini traditions. It is a colourful customs that takes a whole week and last day being the public holiday where people are allowed to come and watch as the maidens dance.
